Who is Phetta? Well, I guess you could say he is technically an embodiment of me. A creative alter ego. Look at me; I got an alter ego, okay! But really, Phetta is a curious and adventurous being constantly on the hunt to discover new ideas and create them into a reality of his own. But within the Phettaverse, he is a detective rat with a bold attitude and a rush for discovery. It can be all fun and games, but he’s serious as a rock when it comes to his cases. Each Phettaverse case can be many things embodied into one, but each case is the core of the Phettaverse storyline from the outside—a way for Phetta to document and keep track of every new being and event that takes place.
Some may ask, what can you take away from these cases? In simple terms, they are moments in life—experiences, lessons, dreams, goals, and expression. What is life without these, and what is life without a way to share these with others? To allow the world to view it from your eyes and see the accurate idea of what you believe the world is.
Phetta originated from a much darker 2D timeline and a much more grungey 80s detective vibe that slowly evolved into the character he is today, an idea of my current self. I like to think that the beginning of phetta was a way for me to let go of the angry mindset I had created around myself and the world—a way to reset and do it right.
Why should you follow Phetta? Well, I hope to continue to evolve and grow the universe that he resides in and build upon the idea of Phetta himself. As a daily artist, I enjoy expressing myself through art, but the feeling of building out a world that can become tangible and explosively huge is a whole new feeling.
