To all my fellow human beings, I have come to provide you with some recent developments as well as some thoughts for moving forward. A short while ago, I decided to devote some of my free time to begin the process of arranging the Phettaverse world, which is the outcome of my intense skill of hyperfocusing on one thing. One of the most important aspects of that is that I finally updated the character page on my website. Doing so brought to my attention the extent to which I have immersed myself in this world, given the large number of characters that inhabit this realm.

I've had several internet pals ask if they may incorporate their character or concept in the Phettaverse. While I'd want to include all my pals in this enormous cosmos I've developed, it's challenging given how erratic I am. If it were feasible for users to have a Phettaverse Character minted on-chain that reflects them, it would immerse them into the tale of the Phettaverse and provide them a ready-to-use VRM avatar for the Metaverse, I wonder how many people would be interested.

Right now, the Phettaverse 1/1 contract holds 6 tokens currently minted with some of the early Phettaverse characters including: Phetta as Token ID 1, which I still hold, Punk Rock Bee being token ID 2, which is held by JOY, Lucy, which is held by NPR_ETH, Android:444 held by Erin, Borgor Rabbit held by Roy, and Mr. Phish held by Moderats.

However, these characters are Phettaverse original characters, so I'm thinking of creating a second contract called Phettaverse Friends.

Now, this brings me to the next subject, how would these be released?

I'd like to bring up my great friend Subtle Bubble, who of course invented the fascinating and thought-provoking Sippy Auction Model. (No this isn't the Noun auction model please do not confuse them the sippy one is more epic.)

What is a Sippy Auction Model?

Two days a week, a new auction will commence for the Phettaverse Friends, starting at 0.15 eth. The token will initially display a Phettagotchi, which is the device that stores all Phettaverse character data, and the winner of the auction will have the metadata updated to showcase their own avatar. If the winner does not currently have an avatar, they will have the opportunity to have one designed for them. This auction serves as a unique opportunity for individuals to showcase their personal identity within the Phettaverse and Friends community.

How do I get a custom Phettaverse Character designed?

I'd like this process to be as simple as possible, a lot of Phettaverse characters come down to 2-3 aspects. Either an item or animal, the thing that powers this individual, and a name of course. This could obviously be a bit different if new friends already have a unique character in their own world, I'd be happy to try and adapt that character into a Phettaverse style.

How many Phettaverse Friends do you plan to have exist?

I would like to limit these for my sanity, realistically, I create better when I am in my own silly little world and smoking weed, but It's a lot of fun to bring the community into the creation of my universe, either with storytelling or just a sick looking friend to bring along for the adventure! I am thinking around 20 would be the limit, with possible expansions in the future.

But I also enjoy just creating my friends for fun, so they won't always be on-chain, as for example we already have a few Phettaverse Friends :3

I'd like to split the Phettaverse Characters into generations, currently, we are in Generation #2 with the original Phettaverse characters.
