Creating Borgor Rabbit
I'd like to share a few of the steps I took to develop this new character for the Phettaverse. In a creative universe, creating people and settings is as simple as imagining them. Let your imagination go wild when you're sculpting; I don't do any drawing or brainstorming before beginning a piece. Instead, I watch a show I adore or browse the internet for pictures that inspire me. I'd be lying if I said it was anything but a laid-back procedure.
I drew inspiration for Borgor Rabbit from an already-existing Rabbit character I have in the Phettaverse. Don't ask me how Borgors came up as the motif for my funky and laid-back persona; I'm not sure how it happened. The first time I saw a flawlessly exquisite borgor in clay, it took over my thoughts for almost a week and a half, and I'm just now starting to shake it off.
Yet it does make me think, I believe it was a way of screaming at myself that I eat the same thing every day; maybe it's a comfort thing or something else. but I tend to find a meal and repeat it until I hate it. It's bizarre, and I've done it a lot. It used to be pasta; when I was super young, it was tuna. Just weird inner thoughts.
To understand Borgor Rabbit's obsession with Borgors, one must first understand what a Borgor is. The Hamburger is the only answer! In the Phettaverse, unique food products appear to have their name, yet in the real world, they're almost identical. The first example of this data is Borgors...
Another fascinating thing about this lovable critter is that it loves to dance! You're doing the Borgor Dance, aren't you? You should study it before meeting him, otherwise, he won't have a good time! If you look closely, he also has a Borgor Phone connected to TV Man. Since Borgor Rabbit has a direct line to Phetta, it's safe to assume that the two of them are working together to document the bizarre world in which he finds himself. Perhaps he and Phetta will have more adventures together?
Did I have a whole idea when creating Borgor Rabbit? No. I feel like that's where I make my most natural work, though, when I have a more fleshed-out idea, I tend to give myself a lot of anxiety about imperfection. Yet, how can it be imperfect if it doesn't exist yet? I think the more I learn 3D sculpting as well, I feel like I hold what I am creating to a bit higher of a standard, as I learn more of what the go-to for the avenue I'm trying to show my work in such as games and metaverse platforms.
I introduced Borgor Rabbit in front of the 7Rabbits, I thought that would be a good easter egg for those who follow the lore behind the Phettaverse, as Stoned Rabbit owns 7Rabbits. I like to think of Borgor Rabbit as Phettas sidekick. A chill laid-back friend that Phetta can explore with.
Borgor Rabbit also created the song called "Do The Borgor Dance" a very chill laid back song that I made to give the true vibe of this silly rabbit.

Creating The Borgor World
When you create a character, they typically need a world they reside in, right? That's when I decided to make the Borgor World. This world seems to end up being very carnival based, which I felt seemed to fit well with the vibe that Borgor Rabbit gives off as well.

So far, I have brought this 3D world into VRChat, and halfway into webaverse, I think it's badass to be able to allow people to enter the universe you have created instead of only having video experiences. I believe it has also slowly turned into an obsession as well. We can talk about that more later.
