Clayground

Sculpt real clay with your hands. Paint it, animate it frame by frame, and send it to your phone.

Meta Quest · Free during Early Access · Made by Emotionull

It behaves like clay

Clayground is volumetric clay, not a mesh you push around. You add to it, carve into it, and smooth it the way you would with the real thing. There is no polygon budget to think about and no edge of the canvas — the clay grows wherever you sculpt.

What’s in it

24 tools

Move, Smooth, Stamp, Snake Hook and twenty more — the ones you’d actually reach for with real clay in your hands.

40+ stamps

A built-in shape library. And you can capture any part of your own sculpt and turn it into a stamp you reuse forever.

Flipbook timeline

Animate frame by frame, the way stop-motion actually works. Export a turntable GIF in one press when you’re done.

Mixed reality

Sculpt in passthrough at your real desk, with your real hands and your real coffee sitting next to the clay.

One-press export

GLB or OBJ straight into Blender. Or send it to your phone over Wi-Fi without taking the headset off.

Bring your own models

Import 3D work you’ve already made and keep sculpting on top of it.

Why I built it

I resisted digital art for years. Paint has weight and resistance, clay has more of it, and nothing on a screen ever felt like that. VR was the first thing that did.

So I built the tool I wanted: clay that behaves like clay, no topology to worry about, and a way to get the thing you made out of the headset and into Blender or onto your phone.

Everything in the Phettaverse gets sculpted this way. Clayground is the part I decided to hand to everyone else.

It’s Early Access, and that’s deliberate

Clayground is free while it’s in Early Access, and it is still being built. If something is broken or missing, tell me — that is the whole reason to ship it now rather than later.
